The Cajun Country 08 nights/09 days

Day 1: Arrival in New Orleans. Pick up the rental car at the airport and check in at the hotel. Night.

Day 2: Cruise on the Mississippi river aboard the Natchez Steamboat one of the last steamer existing. Then drive to the Nottoway plantation, one of the most beautiful and famous plantation in Louisiana. Enjoy the beauty of this place and return to New Orleans. Night.
Day 3: Discover BATON ROUGE, administrative capital of Louisiana and the Capitol. Depart to St Francisville and visit the Rosedown plantation and its beautiful garden. Continuation to Natchez, southern city of character. Night.
Day 4: Visit the Frogmore plantation, cotton plantation still in activity. Continuation to Lafayette. Installation at the hotel. In the evening enjoy “Randol’s” Cajun cuisine and its very typical music.
Day 5: Departure for an unforgettable 3H ballad in the bayous by flat bottom boat. Then visit St Martinville, the small Paris of the 19th century and continuation to HOUMA. Installation at the hotel. Night.
Day 6: Visit Laura Plantation. Then continue for the visit of the Tabasco Factory in Avery Island, famous hot sauce. Continuation to New Orleans. Installation at the hotel. Jazz evening at the French Quarter. Night.
Day 7: Excursion to Oak Alley plantation. Afternoon free for shopping and free evening.
Day 8: Walk in the old Jackson square, break at the famous Cafe du Monde to enjoy their specialty: the sugar donut. Discover the colonial homes of Charles Street. Night.
Day 9: Return the rental car to the airport and boarding.
